Roman Spiridonov celebrates wife’s birthday in Monte Carlo amid sanctions — photos emerge of shadow oil company Petroruss owner

Media outlets have acquired photos of Roman Spiridonov, the owner of Petroruss, a company tied by journalists and investigators to covert Russian oil shipments.
The pictures were taken at a party in the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco — at the birthday celebration of his wife, Elena Spiridonova. In the photos, Roman Spiridonov is seen surrounded by guests, including Russian socialites and entertainers such as Dima Bilan and Lada Dance. Among the guests were Oksana Bondarenko, Galina Agapova, and plastic surgeon Yevgeny Brishten.
According to investigators, this same Roman Spiridonov owns the UAE-registered company Petroruss, which is involved in circumventing sanctions and transporting Russian oil, and is also linked to influential St. Petersburg businessman Ilya Traber. Several reports claim that he holds a Greek passport.
