Alyona Shevtsova (Dehrik), the wife of ex-National Police investigator Yevhen Shevtsov and internationally wanted owner of Ibox Bank, was gifted property in central Kyiv — the same property from which a criminal group of "black registrars" had previously lifted a seizure.
This is reported by bihus.info.
Half of the premises, with an area of about 600 square meters above the Touch Cafe restaurant at 16 Shota Rustaveli Street, were gifted to Alyona Shevtsova on August 23, 2016. The other half was received by Vladyslav Filimonov, the son of former deputy head of the Kyiv SSU Yevhen Filimonov.
This premises appeared in Yevhen Shevtsov’s declaration filed in 2017. Until October 2015, the property belonged to businessman Oleksiy Kikireshko. He is known, among other things, as the former president of FC Arsenal Kyiv and a race car driver. The man’s assets, including the premises at 16 Shota Rustaveli Street, were seized due to debts, including unpaid bank loans.
However, on October 15, 2015, the seizure was removed from the premises by notary Nadiya Bovbalan. The next day, Oleksiy Kikireshko gifted the premises to Lyudmyla Kikireshko, presumably the entrepreneur’s mother. A year later, half of the premises was gifted to Alyona Shevtsova.
Interestingly, the criminal case regarding these "black registrars" (in which the premises co-owned by Alyona Shevtsova is involved) is being investigated by the Main Investigative Department of the National Police. It was in this department that Yevhen Shevtsov worked as a head of a division. The official declined to comment at the time.
